In a recent trip to The Baltic, I visited Sofia Stevi’s exhibit which I really enjoyed. Stevi’s flowing lines and bold colours describe form in a playful sense, her work often takes domestic objects charged with eroticism, along with the addition of abstracted body parts such as torsos and limbs. I really like the concept behind this work and the idea of challenging inanimate objects, this could be a good idea to take when moving forward in my project.
