A New Start

To start this project I've had the idea to create a portrait of someone without directly drawing that person, I have been writing phrases that the subject has said to me or phrases that I think best suites them. I started with drawing my mam and my girlfriend, the words they say are in response to my feelings about my art project last semester, in which I was stressed and often feeling down, so most phrases are comforting and supportive towards me. The composition of the piece is supposed to be messy as I rotated the paper for each phrase I wrote to purposefully make it hard to read the phrases, I done this because these words are quite personal to me and I'm not too sure if I

want people to be able to read them easily quite yet.
