The national portrait gallery

In February I visited the national portrait gallery and visited their collection of traditional portraiture, specifically The Tweeddales, Power, Politics and Portraits. I thought this would help me with my project as my project is based around portraiture so visiting this collection will show me the roots of portraiture to see how it all looked hundreds of years ago in comparison to now, and try and be influenced by this classical style to try and fuse it with my own .
